Industrial abrasive solutions for surface preparation

Pro Empire Sdn Bhd supplies three abrasive materials for industrial blast cleaning: Dust Free Abrasive, Copper Free Abrasive and Garnet Sand.

We work with state-owned enterprises, shipyard contractors and international EPC consortia. Every project gets technical data, test documentation and samples so the team can evaluate and choose the right media.

Test methods: Mineral hardness scratch test, ASTM C128 / pycnometer, ISO 8501-1 / SSPC-SP 10, ISO 565 / Tyler standard mesh, gravimetric oven method (105 °C). Garnet Sand tested to GB/T 17850.5-2017 and GB/T 8923.1-2011.

1.4 MT heavy-duty woven jumbo bags (FIBC), UV-stabilised, with 4 reinforced lifting loops.
Moisture barrier
Optional PE inner liner for tropical sea voyages, on request.

20 jumbo bags per 20′ GP container, about 28 MT net (subject to port limits).
Shipping
Full container load (FCL) sea freight to Southeast Asia, the Middle East and ports worldwide.

Safe handling

Best practices on site

  • Substrate compatibility

    Safe on carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, aluminium and non-ferrous metals, with no discoloration or contamination.

  • Recovery & recycling

    Use vacuum recovery, cyclonic extractors or closed blast booths to get the most reuse cycles.

  • Storage

    Keep bags in a covered, dry warehouse. Rain exposure can cause clumping and block nozzles and metering valves.

  • Operator protection

    Operators should wear NIOSH/CE-approved air-supplied blast helmets, blast suits, respiratory protection and heavy gloves.
